The ChessDream game importer pulls your played games directly from Chess.com or Lichess using only your username — no password, no OAuth, and no account on ChessDream. Pick a platform, enter the username, choose a date range, and every game in that window is listed and ready to open in the Stockfish analysis board. Importing and analyzing are both free and unlimited.
Copying a PGN one game at a time is fine for a single review, but improvement comes from looking at many games together and spotting the pattern that repeats. Importing by username gives you a whole date range at once, so you can work through a losing streak or a month of games in one sitting rather than hunting down individual game links.
No. The importer uses the public game archives that Chess.com and Lichess publish for each account, so it only needs your username. There is no login, no OAuth connection, and no password involved.
No. Importing and analysis are both unlimited and free. Unlike platforms that cap free accounts to one game review per day, ChessDream does not meter how many games you review.
Yes. Both platforms are supported. Chess.com games are fetched by username and date range, and Lichess games are fetched by username and year.
No. You can import and analyze games without registering. An account is only needed for features that save state across sessions, such as your profile.
